Education is critical to the future of our wildlife.
Australian Seabird and Turtle Rescue (ASTR) are a not-for-profit wildlife group located in Ballina. Our rescue truck, purpose-built hospital and rehabilitation aviaries allow our volunteers to rescue and rehabilitate injured seabirds, sea turtles and sea snakes. Support our rescue efforts by joining one of our interactive 50 min education tours, onsite at our education centre. Suitable for all ages, learn the who, what, how & why of what we do at ASTR. Hear anecdotes about the animals we have rescued and marvel at our visual exhibits on display in our Education Centre.
