Bertie’s Food and Drink

Bertie’s food and drink, is a small neighbourhood cafe and wine bar on the busy corner of Cherry Street, Ballina. 

Owned and operated by husband and wife team, Tim Coleman (previously Rockpool restaurant, Icebergs and Acme) and freelance stylist and interior designer Rhianne Contreras.  

The cafe is open from 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday with future plans (in the not too distant future) to open for longer hours for after work drinks and nibbles.  

You can expect to find delicious breakfast items, freshly made salads and made to order deli style sandwiches. Sandwiches will be made with freshly baked focaccia piled high with sliced deli meats, cheeses, pickles and veg. All food, coffee from Byron based Beam roasters, wine and beer will be available to have in or take away.  

Not fancy food, just good tasty food, served generously.
