Bring the girsl down to the Ballina Indoor Sports Centre these holidays for a Girls ONLY basketball workshop.

Participants will learn the skills for the game and life. It will fun filled action packed and an empowering experience for all participants. Basketball is the focus AND they will weave in some useful tools for managing challenges and staying calm in stressful situations.

These events are designed to gather the girls together and reflect 5 research based strategies to support the mental health and wellbeing of women and teenage girls:

• Greater emphasis on social support

• Supporting one another rather than competing

• Emphasising achievement, improvement and ability

• Empowering women and girls through role modelling

• Educating on skills and strategies for resilience, emotional regulation, and stress management

Who: Girls aged 8 - 14 years, no basketball experience needed.
