Rocky Creek Dam
Details
Rocky Creek Dam is located within the Whian Whian State Forest and is a key source of drinking water for the Northern Rivers Region, in particular for Lismore City, Ballina Shire, Byron Shire and Richmond Valley. Rocky Creek Dam has several bush walking tracks surrounding the dam and the Rainforest Reserve. There is a pinic area with barbecue and toilet facilities as well as a playground.
Camping, swimming and bird and animal feeding is strictly prohibited in this area. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
