Staying in town? The Ballina Riverfront Walk follows the Richmond River out to the tip of the breakwall. With water views the whole way, this is a beautiful walk that showcases some of Ballina's most appealing assets.

The Coastal Recreational Path runs along the Ballina Shire coastline from Lighthouse Beach to Sharpes Beach (approx 5.2km). This pathway contains a landscape of extensive cultural features and natural resources with beautiful beach views.

Love to cycle? Enjoy the mostly flat 11.5km Ballina Loop with great views over the river, ocean and creek. There are plenty of great cafes to stop for a breather along the way so jump on your bike and enjoy exploring!
