For the young and young at heart, the Sanctuary offers 18 holes of mini golf and a water splash park, making it the perfect day out for the family.
Take a piece home from the gift store and fine foods department or sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious meal or tasty treat in the Sanctuary Café, which serves up fresh food using locally sourced ingredients. The licensed bar offers delicious cocktails and tap beer featuring local favourites Husk Distillers, Brookie’s Gin, and Seven Mile Brewing Co.
The heart of the sanctuary is the conservation. Their purpose is to create an awareness of the importance of respecting our natural world together with the community, by offering experiences that enable visitors to leave feeling fulfilled, with a newfound understanding and enjoyment of what Australia’s natural flora and fauna has to offer.
Australia’s largest Mobile Wildlife Hospital ‘Matilda’ is located on site at the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Their expert veterinary team provide critical services to save and recover our local wildlife.
