Time: 10:30am - 11:30am
Category:
Looking for an activity to get the kids outside and into nature? Find out which bird of the Rainforest is the best at hide and seek?
Bring the family to follow the Story Walk and learn about our native birds as you wander into the wonderful Hoop Pine Forest. Continue on up, when the story ends, to feel the quiet of the forest and take time to walk the labyrinth.
The Story Walk begins near the BBQ beside the Visitors Centre. The story was written by author, Lee Duncan and illustrator Laila Page.
WHEN: Thursday 11th July, 10.30am - 11.30am is Story Time for little ones at the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens. The team from the Lismore Regional Library will be there to read a story to children and there’ll be creative activities to follow. Bring some morning tea to enjoy in the beautiful gardens after Story Time and watch the kids play in the cool cubby under the eucalypts.
