TAFE NSW has two new specific courses they are offering for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. 

These courses are a great opportunity for students to gain a Certificate lll and help to further develop and improve our Aboriginal tourism product and experiences.

Certificate lll in Guiding (Cultural Tourism)

This course is currently being delivered at their Ballina Campus. This course provides students the knowledge and skills to set up their own cultural experience or provides them opportunities to go into jobs at National Parks. For more information please contact Kristy Perkins on 0409 074 401.

Certificate III Production Horticulture (Bushfoods)

This course is currently being delivered at the Wollongbar Campus. Students will Learn how to establish, control and grow a variety of native food crops and gain skills in environmentally sustainable practices to market popular organic bushfoods. They will learn safety skills and ways to control weeds and pests, attend field trips to and get a practical insight into the industry and more.
