It's the weekend! Here's the event highlights from the Ballina Tourism Team!

 Unwind into the weekend at Shelly Beach Café's Sunset Session this evening from 4.30! The drinks will be flowing, and the music playing...fun!   

There's a few Triplej Hottest 100 parties to choose from on Saturday. The Shaws Bay Hotel will be counting down the tunes andClub Lennox will be live streaming the countdown accompanied by a Lions Club bbq from 3-5pm, an outdoor cocktail bar and craft beer specials. Entry is free for both! 

It's a big weekend for rugby fans with the Lennox Head Cultural Centre hosting a Rugby Palooza from 9-4pm on Saturday. Listen , Observe & Interact with some of the games' best coaches. From Super Rugby to Wallabies to International standouts. 

Bob Brown is in town on his Tales from the Tarkine tour and will be speaking at the Lennox Head Cultural Centre on Saturday night from 6.30 to 9.30pm sharing stories about the ongoing struggle to protect our environment and how the Bob Brown Foundation supports action campaigns across Australia. 

Weekends are for markets and this Sunday the Lennox Community Market is on from 8-3 with a mix of local and regional arts crafts, food stalls and fresh farm produce with lots of goodies and kids activities. 

The weekly Ballina Farmers Market is also on from 7-11am with all your yummy local produce! 

As always, there also plenty of tours and activities to choose from. Spot the elusive platypus with Vision walks, learn to surf with Soul Surf School, join Out Of The Blue Adventures for a sunset river cruise, set off on a half day cultural coastal walk with Byron Bay Coastal Walks or even head up to Cape Byron Distillery for a rainforest and gin tasting tour.
