Lots of big annual events happening across the Northern Rivers this weekend!  

Lismore GemFest is on both Saturday & Sunday and showcases over 140 stalls, fossicking and displays to get involved in. Casino Beef Week kicks off on Saturday with 11 days of entertainment, education and an authentic country experience for the whole family.

On Sunday the Mullum to Bruns Paddleattracts approximately 1000 paddlers each year and starts at Heritage Park in Mullumbimby and ends at the Terrace Park in Brunswick Heads.  

Also on Sunday is the annual Bangalow Billycart Derby which takes over the main street! A great day full of community fun, and of course billycart racing for those willing to brave the big hill with their wacky carts. 

Some great live music at local venues – Sam Buckingham at Pearces Creek Hall, Mandy Hawkes and Band album launch at Tintenbar Hall and Katie Noonan at Brunswick Picture House. 

Finish the weekend off with a Paint-Eat-Sip workshop at Sugar Beach Ranch in Pimlico.
