Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation's next funding round will open soon on 25 March. Applications are being accepted for funding of projects that help people facing disadvantage, marginalisation and isolation in regional communities until 4 May.
The Charitable Foundation has approximately $800,000 on offer in this round and the application process, along with further information, can be found on the website www.charitablefoundation.com.au
To support this funding round, Newcastle Permanent are holding a community workshop in Ballina on Monday 30 March.
The workshop will assist local charities and community groups to understand the funding application process and hear from the team on what they are looking for and the types of projects that have been successful in the past. Workshops are free to attend and a light lunch is provided. Further details are included below.

To be eligible for funding an organisation must be endorsed as by the Australian Taxation Office as a Type 1 Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and be registered with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profit Commission.
