Only 10mins from Ballina, Teven Tintenbar has some lovely scenic roads for a hinterland drive. Grab you coffee from the Tintenbar General Store and start exploring. Stop along the way at the different farm gate stalls and pick up some seasonal produce.

Killens Falls Nature Reserve is well worth a visit and is home to one of the last remaining remnants of the big scrub. Go for a stroll along the track through the regenerating sub-tropical rainforest to the boardwalk which offers a viewing platform located on the top of a cliff overlooking Killen Falls. You can walk to the base of the falls and behind them - feel the spray of water on your face. 

Bring out your creative side and book a pottery workshop with local artist Brooke Clunie or perhaps you would prefer a round of golf at the the boutique nine holf Teven Valley Golf Course.
