Get up close to real, military and civilian heritage aircraft and take the driver's seat of the F-111 fighter bomber. The Evans Head Heritage Aviation Museum will take you on a tour, sharing storeies, the history, the tragedies and the triumphs of aviation. Housed in one of the original hangers on the Base. 

Thousand of men and women called Evans Head home while undergoing bombing training during World War ll.

The museum is open weekends 10am-4pm and Tuesday mornings 9am-12pm and is a highly recommended fun and interesting experience for all ages.

Cost is $10 per person.
