Join author Kerrie Davies ahead of her appearance at the Sydney Writers Festival, in conversation with Blanche De Winter, for the local launch of Davies' latest novel, "Miles Franklin Undercover" (Allen & Unwin).⁠ Kerrie and Blanche will discuss Kerrie's discovery of a century-old unpublished manuscript by the author of "My Brilliant Career", and how, after Miles' dazzling success aged 21, she disappeared.⁠ Drinks and light refreshments will be served, and book purchases and signings will be available following the talk. This event is free, but RSVPs via the author's website are appreciated. ⁠

Kerrie Davies is the author of "Miles Franklin Undercover" and "A Wife's Heart". She grew up in Ballina and now lives between Ballina and Sydney, where she is Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales' School of the Arts & Media. ⁠

Blanche De Winter runs writing circles for Randwick City Council's sustainability hub, and provided Kerrie with early research assistance for the book. ⁠
