FREE Kids Fishing Workshop – Reel in the Fun!

The NSW DPIRD Kids Fishing Workshop is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged 8–14 and their families to learn the basics of recreational fishing in a fun and supportive environment.

Participants and their accompanying adult will learn about fishing rules, casting, knot tying, baiting and rigging. The workshop finishes with a supervised fishing session, guided by an education officer and experienced Fishcare volunteers.

It’s a great way to connect with nature, learn new skills and enjoy quality family time – and best of all, it’s completely free!
